XDAQ™ is designed for optimal signal acqusition in the micro volt scale. XDAQ™ has improved against all noise sources except for loose pin or bad GND/Ref.
XDAQ™’s animal ports are electrically isolated from the box. Thus effectively eliminates all noise sources such as power line, PC, equipments, etc coupled to the acquisition system.
TruGround is a unique XDAQ™ feature that maintains separated ground nodes and their electrical path. On the animal side, there are unique grounds for signal and earth shield. These ground nodes are also accessible from the ground panel in the back of the XDAQ™. If you regularly build a faraday cage around your implant, try tying the faraday ground to the earth ground, which truly grounds the noise. TruGround makes noise optimization easy and logical.
XDAQ™ when paired with X-Headstage™ that is embedded with the electrode at the craniotomy can acquire neural recording that minimizes noise artifacts from movement, even in situation when the animal directly bangs to the wall.
Electrical power inputs are filtered and buffered to deliver a clean, stable power to the system. Sensitive analog signal path is carefully routed and impedance matched for best performance. The DAC and ADC circuits are individually calibrated for precision.
A fanless design that leverages aluminum enclosure as heat sink to satisfy power demanding circuitries.
Core functionalities of XDAQ™(recording and stimulation) can be controlled by open-source software packages from Intan Technologies or Open-Ephys.
With an adaptor, you can use your existing RHD/RHS2000 based headstages from Open-Ephys, Intan Technologies, and more.
Drive the XDAQ from a variety of software applications - ranging from the well known open source applications like OpenEphys to our own opensource XDAQ GUI to NeuroNexus' Radiens suite of applications. All XDAQ users get acceess to full Radiens license for 3 month.
Recording and stimulation X-Headstages with the XDAQ can be done using the modified XDAQ-RHX software based on the RHX from Intan Technologies.
Our XDAQ-OE plugin supports recording headstages using the XDAQ. Plugin can be downloaded directly from the Open-Ephys GUI or download legacy version (based on v0.5.5.4) from our Github.
Radiens™ is the software suite that supports the entire electrophysiology workflow from data acquisition and control to advanced analytics, algorithms, and visualization.
Our e-ink inspired control software is designed with user-centric philosophy, thus super easy to use. Data plotting is done using GPU accelerated API call so it is super smooth. It is also optimized for 4K screens so you can see the signal all together. Our software is open-source so you can easily adapt to your own workflow. Github coming soon.
Every XDAQ™ drives a growing list of both hardware and software functionalities to support common research needs in electrophysiology.
